Little Princess and Ballerina Cupcakes

Is there any better way to celebrate a little girl's 3rd birthday than with cupcakes topped with girly pink decorations? I didn't think so! This little princess who loves ballet had her cupcakes topped with ballet slippers, flowers, bows, pink puppies, and of course tiaras.

Baby Shower Cupcakes

The colours were chosen because the gender of the baby was not known and the baby's nursery was being decorated in green and yellow. I'd love to get a photo one day of all the babies whose upcoming births were celebrated by feasting on Clever Cupcakes.

I wanted to thank you for the delicious cupcakes! They were a big hit at the baby shower, especially the chocolate ginger ones. Also, I must say that I'm not usually a fan of vanilla but your vanilla cupcakes are amazing.

1950's Cupcakes

The order for these cupcakes was received all the way from the UK. The request was for cupcakes with Elvis and Classic Car decorations to be sent to a loved one in Montreal on their birthday. Yet another cool request from a repeat customer. We decided on handmade fondant decorations of a silhouette of The King's face and blue '57 Chevys. On top of white vanilla icing they really pop.

Toronto Raptors Cupcakes

On some orders it is really easy to get carried away. These cupcakes were ordered for a basketball loving boy's 13th birthday. While I am sure basketballs and hoops would have sufficed, once I found out he was a Raptors fan I couldn't resist including all their cool logos. Other decorations included his favourite player's name and number as well as a basketball jersey with his name and age.

Pretty Pink Birthday Cupcakes

After spending a full day baking cupcakes for a 300 person wedding I had to quickly decorate some cupcakes for a friend's birthday party that night. They turned out so cute I decided they deserved a blog post of their own!

Teletoon Retro Cupcakes

This was one of those orders that I was excited about from the moment it was received to the time it was delivered. I love cartoons and couldn't wait to get started on an order from Teletoon Canada to celebrate the launch of their Teletoon Retro Network on Videotron Cable. The cartoon characters they chose to include were Jane Jetson, Elroy, Wonder Woman, Bug Bunny and Scooby Doo. Beyond everyone at Teletoon and Videotron loving these cupcakes, they also received some internet buzz. There were blogged about on Slashfood, Cupcakes Take the Cake, and At Home with Kim Vallée..

Congratulations on the Promotion Cupcakes!

Follow this client's lead! Why settle for sending flowers to congratulate someone at work for receiving a promotion when you can send these flowers cupcakes instead! Not only do they not need to be watered and taste much better, but if you are lucky maybe they will share!

Bonne Fête Gilles!

My favourite orders to create are those sent to people in Montreal from loved ones far away. This personalized birthday box with chocolate cupcakes filled with raspberry jam and topped with vanilla buttercream was created for Julie of Blue Cupcake in Los Angeles for her father's 65th birthday. Here is what Julie's mom had to say about the cupcakes:

Les petits gâteaux au chocolat de dimanche étaient succulents; nous nous sommes régalés

Check out what Kim had to say about them on her blog At Home with Kim Vallée.

Your Are Old Birthday Box!

The timing of this order could not have been any better. I received an order for a personalized birthday box to be sent to the office of a repeat customer's boyfriend. Instead of the standard "Happy B-Day" message she requested that the cupcakes spelled out "You Are Old". Why was this order apropos? It was the last delivery before my 30th birthday! How did I celebrate? With a week off in Vancouver!
