Remember the Whisical Spring Cupcakes from a few months ago? It turns out they were a big hit! I recently received this photo of the adorable birthday girl enjoying her cupcake.
Thank you for the beautiful and delicious cupcakes. Élodie loved them - us too! YUMMY!

Happy Canada Day!
This 6" chocolate mud cake with milk chocolate buttercream covered in chocolate ganache and fondant, was decorated with red maple leafs and topped with a handmade fondant guitar for a Rock Band themed Canada Day party.
RAD Wedding Cupcake Tower
Remember way back to the first time we made Super Mario Brothers Cupcakes? Well, in June "Mario" got married and we made cupcakes for the wedding reception!
The bride and groom (whose initials are "R" and "D") were married in NYC so we created a "Big Apple" inspired flavour for their wedding reception in Montreal.
The cupcake were vanilla filled with cinnamon whipped cream and frosted with apple cider buttercream. They were all topped with purple "RAD" edible images (remember the happy couples initials?) and we also provided a matching 6" cutting cake. The cake was vanilla filled with apple cider buttercream and covered with white chocolate ganache and purple fondant.

Graduation Cupcakes
This year's theme for the grade 6 class of a local elementary school was "Our World, Our Home" so what better way to celebrate their graduation than with cupcakes topped with edible images of mother earth.
Each student received an individually boxed cupcake. Luckily the school secretary thought of labeling the boxes with the students' name, because apparently some of the kids tried to sneak back for seconds!

Fifty and Fabulous Cupcakes
Definitely the most fun order of the month! These cupcakes were ordered for a fabulous woman's fiftieth birthday party.
To go along with the party's "Sex and the CIty" theme we developed a Cosmo cupcake by topping a tart lime cupcake with smooth pink cran-raspberry buttercrream.
All the cupcakes were topped with custom decorations including handmade fondant leopard and zebra print as well as edible images of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley.
To top it all off we also provided a luscious 6" strawberry shortcake.

Hen Party Cupcakes
One of MANY orders for bachelorette party cupcakes in June. Handmade fondant private parts seem to be the hot item this summer at bachelorette parties in Montreal.
Birthday Girls!
Topped with pastel pink, yellow, and blue handmade fondant decorations we prepared these sweet little cupcakes to help celebrate the 3rd birthday of a little princess. Don't they just scream baby girl?
We used similar handmade floral fondant decorations with different more sophisticated pink fondant decorations for another little girl's 9th birthday. Still sweet, but definitely more grown-up.

Back To Business!
After returning from a relaxing vacation the first week of June we got right back to baking. Much like the month of April, June was filled with corporate orders. To name a few there were a myriad of stuffed cupcakes for the head office of Caisses Desjardins, more edible image corporate logo cupcakes for OSIsoft, individually boxed "Thank You" cupcakes for TD Canada Trust, and hundreds of yellow and blue mini cupcakes that Blue Lemon Media Inc. served up to attendees at a tradeshow held at a downtown hotel.
