Speaking of weddings, the 2010 wedding season is fast approaching! We have been receiving so many wedding cupcake requests over the last few weeks that I decided to organize an afternoon of wedding cupcake tastings this Sunday March 7, 2010.

First Montreal Wedding Cupcakes of 2010!

The weekend before Valentine's Day we had the privilege of providing cupcakes for a wedding held in the Old Port of Montreal at Restaurant Du Vieux Port. It was the our first wedding of the year, so I couldn't wait to get working!

The colour scheme of the wedding was all white, so we baked the cupcakes in white liners and topped all the cupcakes in white buttercream. To distinguish between the lemon and vanilla cupcakes we used white pearl details.

My favourite part of this order was the custom bride and groom wedding cake topper that we handcrafted out of fondant and handpainted.
