it's a boy!
these red velvet and chocolate mini cupcakes topped with cream cheese and chocolate buttercream were ordered for a baby shower. while we don't often decorate minis these cupcakes were topped with blue fondant embossed with little baby footprints and the words "baby boy".
I just wanted to say thank you and that the cupcakes were amazing - to the point where there were none left!

who knew genitals on cupcakes would be so popular? these cupcakes are topped with decorations similar to past orders for bachelorette cupcakes with the addition of cupcakes topped with breasts.

hail to the chef!
i love receiving orders from people who have creative ideas and know exactly what they want. this order came from a woman whose boyfriend is a chef that cooks french food with an asian influence. we discussed his favourite tools and ingredients that he uses in the kitchen and here are the decorations we come up with. starting in the upper left corner and working clockwise we have: a dark brown pepper mill, a chef's jacket, a fork, a birthday cake, a fortune cookie, things, a bowl of noodles, a global knife, a fish, a soup spoon, a steak, and finally chopsticks.
I just want to say thank you again for being so accommodating, and for those AMAZING cupcakes! My (super picky) boyfriend and I were completely in awe of how beautiful everything was, and we were even more shocked at how incredible the cupcakes actually tasted! Your work definitely went beyond my expectations, and I will most certainly be telling everyone about my incredible cupcake experience with Clever Cupcakes!

taylor is 1!
another first birthday was celebrated this week with clever cupcakes. this box was created for a precious little girl named taylor. even with hearts, flowers, puppies, teddies, and bunnies these cupcakes weren't as sweet as she is, but they came a close second.
surf's up!
to go along with the beach themed cupcakes the lucky birthday boy also received a giant beach themed cupcake complete with edible waves, fish, surf boards, and sand. even though the weather did not co-operate the party was a success due in no small part to our cupcakes.
I am sorry I did not get a chance to thank you in person for the truly amazing cupcakes you created. Your design and decor far exceeded my expectations. The effect was truly magical and delicious to boot. You have won yourself a legion of fans and a lifetime customer. Thanks again for making my Son's first birthday special to the nth degree.

beach party cupcakes
when i was contacted to make cupcakes for a little boy's beach themed first birthday party i knew right away it would be a fun order to create. i admit i got a bit carried away with decorations for this order. i think it may be because montreal has barely seen the sun so these little sea creatures were my connection to summer. i can't decide which is my favourite! i think it may be between the crab and the turtle.

cupcakes on the catwalk
the irony of cupcakes at fashion shows will never be lost on me. these 72 vanilla cupcakes topped with handmade fondant flowers were served at a Jospeph Ribkoff fashion show earlier this summer.

in case you hadn't already guessed there cupcakes were ordered for a bachelorette party. topped with penises, whips, and handcuffs, these cupcakes surely were the start of one naughty night!
speaking of wedding cupcakes
feast your eyes on our giant wedding cupcake! the perfect cutting cake to place a top a tier of wedding cupcakes. this giant wedding cupcake is chocolate filled with vanilla buttercream and covered in yellow white chocolate fondant. the edible wedding dress and tuxedo make the cake or cupcake as it may be.

weddings, weddings, and more wedding! between supplying a local banquet hall with wedding cupcakes, creating wedding cupcake tiers, and attending weddings it has been a busy summer.
in late june i had the opportunity to provide cupcake centerpieces for all the tables at a close friend's wedding. they were such a big bit that at some of the tables the cupcakes were gone even before the meal was served!
at a wedding downtown guests were treated to our mini cupcakes as they entered the dining hall. the bride chose to have a cupcake tier on the table with the guest's place cards.
in the old port guests enjoyed a myriad of delicious wedding cupcakes all topped with luscious italian meringue buttercream. just to name a few lemon, chocolate orange and espresso were some of the delicious flavours the bride chose.
