Upon my return from Vancouver we received a last minute order from Kim Vallée for Épluchette de blé d'inde (Corn Roast) themed cupcakes. Topped with corn on the cob, salt packets, corn holders, pats of butter, and red gingham these chocolate chili and vanilla cupcakes were a hit. The timing of this order could not have been any better. I received an order for a personalized birthday box to be sent to the office of a repeat customer's boyfriend. Instead of the standard "Happy B-Day" message she requested that the cupcakes spelled out "You Are Old". Why was this order apropos? It was the last delivery before my 30th birthday! How did I celebrate? With a week off in Vancouver!

these red velvet and chocolate mini cupcakes topped with cream cheese and chocolate buttercream were ordered for a baby shower. while we don't often decorate minis these cupcakes were topped with blue fondant embossed with little baby footprints and the words "baby boy".

I just wanted to say thank you and that the cupcakes were amazing - to the point where there were none left!

who knew genitals on cupcakes would be so popular? these cupcakes are topped with decorations similar to past orders for bachelorette cupcakes with the addition of cupcakes topped with breasts.

i love receiving orders from people who have creative ideas and know exactly what they want. this order came from a woman whose boyfriend is a chef that cooks french food with an asian influence. we discussed his favourite tools and ingredients that he uses in the kitchen and here are the decorations we come up with. starting in the upper left corner and working clockwise we have: a dark brown pepper mill, a chef's jacket, a fork, a birthday cake, a fortune cookie, things, a bowl of noodles, a global knife, a fish, a soup spoon, a steak, and finally chopsticks.

I just want to say thank you again for being so accommodating, and for those AMAZING cupcakes! My (super picky) boyfriend and I were completely in awe of how beautiful everything was, and we were even more shocked at how incredible the cupcakes actually tasted! Your work definitely went beyond my expectations, and I will most certainly be telling everyone about my incredible cupcake experience with Clever Cupcakes!

another first birthday was celebrated this week with clever cupcakes. this box was created for a precious little girl named taylor. even with hearts, flowers, puppies, teddies, and bunnies these cupcakes weren't as sweet as she is, but they came a close second.

to go along with the beach themed cupcakes the lucky birthday boy also received a giant beach themed cupcake complete with edible waves, fish, surf boards, and sand. even though the weather did not co-operate the party was a success due in no small part to our cupcakes.

I am sorry I did not get a chance to thank you in person for the truly amazing cupcakes you created. Your design and decor far exceeded my expectations. The effect was truly magical and delicious to boot. You have won yourself a legion of fans and a lifetime customer. Thanks again for making my Son's first birthday special to the nth degree.
