Cat Cupcakes
What better way to celebrate a little cat lover's 7th birthday than with cat cupcakes? These 3 dozen chocolate and vanilla cupcakes were all filled with buttercream and topped with handmade fondant white, black, and pink cats. Cupcakes with white cats were filled with vanilla buttercream, black cats with chocolate buttercream, and pink cats with strawberry buttercream.

Wondering how to celebrate your twins' 1st birthday? One mom marked this momentous occasion with a giant jungle themed cupcake and 120 matching mini cupcakes.

Vegan Circus Cupcakes
Ordered for a little boy's 1st birthday party these vegan chocolate cupcakes were filled with chocolate frosting and topped with handmad fondant circus decorations including circus tents, a lion, an elephant, a magician, a clown, and the little boy's name in lights. My favourite was the clown cupcake, until my boyfriend saw the picture and pointed out that the "x" for eyes was perhaps not an apt choice!

Giant Fendi Bag Cupcake
The order for this giant cupcake was placed by one of my best customers. After having Clever Cupcakes for one son's birthdays, and for another son's Halloween party, this time the occasion was her sister's birthday.
I was told the birthday girl loves strawberry shortcake and fashion, so we made a giant vanilla cupcake filled with fresh whipped cream, and strawberries, topped with a giant handmade fondant replica Fendi purse and matching heels.

Clever Cupcakes Strike a Pose!
A few weeks back I was contacted by a Montreal based photographer to prepare cupcakes for an upcoming photo shoot. These are some photos that were taken of the cupcakes before they were delivered. Hopefully soon I will be posting a link to the actual photos from the shoot.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for...SPRINKLES?
While not necessarily a Creative Cupcake order in the technical sense, I loved making these cupcakes so I just had to share them! Ordered for the birthday of 4 and 6 year old sisters who love sprinkles, these cupcakes were decorated with 9 different varieties! I think they just scream fun and happiness. These girls have the right idea! I think there would be more peace and love in the world of more food items came with the option of sprinkles.
Mini Baby Shower Cupcakes
It seems cupcakes are very popular at baby showers lately. As a general rule we don't decorate mini cupcakes, but for baby showers we make an exception because these little embossed fondant circles just look so cute! For this shower the sex of the baby was unknown so the decorations were ordered in green, blue, pink, and yellow to cover all the bases. Most of these designs we've used in previous orders, but the baby bottles are new and I was very happy with how they turned out.
"I'm 50!" Cupcakes.
As I made these cupcakes I kept hearing Sherry Oteri's voice from SNL yelling out "I'm 50!". These cupcakes were part of an order a woman placed for a girlfriend's 50th birthday celebration.

Lavender Wedding Cupcakes
These simple but elegant chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with chocolate and lavender vanilla buttercream were part of a wedding order. The white bows and lavender flowers were added to tie in with the wedding's colour scheme.
Curious George Cupcake Box
While I have to admit I am not all that familiar with Boots, Curious George is a monkey I know well. These cupcakes topped with handmade fondant Curious George decorations were for the same lucky 3 year old twins' birthday party as the Dora the Explorer cupcakes. I couldn't resist but add the Man in the Yellow Hat's hat and some bananas in case George got hungry.

What 3 year old doesn't love Dora the Explorer? One pair of lucky twin girls had these cupcakes topped with handmade fondant Dora, Diego, and Boots decorations at their 3rd birthday party. To make the cupcakes extra girlie bow, hearts, and blossoms were added in coordinating Dora the Exporer colours.

Kiddie Halloween Cupcakes!
Back in August we were asked to make cupcakes with a matching giant cupcake for a little boys 1st birthday party. This time around it was his 4 year old brother's turn. The challenge was to make cupcakes that were spooky enough for Halloween but cute enough that a little boy would still want to eat them. A few of the designs that we came up with included a witch, mummy, skeleton and vampire as well as a pumpkin and a ghost couple. Now I just hope they weren't too cute to eat!
Your Halloween cupcakes were a big success. The kids gobbled them all up, choosing them over candy!!! Thanks again.

This year our assortment of Halloween cupcake decorations included Halloween sprinkles, a witches hat, a piece of Halloween candy, and my favourite a hand with a bloody severed finger. By the end of October 31 I was feeling like a butcher after all the fondant fingers I had cut off!
McGill University Rowing Blade Cupcakes
While on the topic of cupcakes for McGill University, these cupcakes were ordered as encouragement for one of the McGill University Rowing teams at a recent regatta in Ontario. The decorations are fondant replicas of the teams rowing blade which is always coloured red with two white triangles on the edge forming a sideways M.
Diversity Cupcakes
Our Clever Cupcakes are helping spread the word about diversity! These 10 dozen mini chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet cupcakes topped with vanilla buttercream and rainbow coloured fondant circles with the letter "D" for diversity were ordered for a keynote address on Diversity at McGill University.
Pretty Christening Cupcakes
These chocolate cupcakes with chocolate and vanilla buttercream where ordered by a woman for her daughter's baptism that was held at their home over 40km north of Montreal. The cupcakes were personalized with the little girls name as well as pink handmade fondant bows and blossoms.

Classic Video Game Cupcake Tower
When I was contacted by blogger extraordinaire Kim Vallée to prepare classic video game cupcakes for her husband Jerome's 39th birthday party I couldn't wait to get started. While I had never heard of Robotron before I was addicted to Frogger as child and of course Space Invaders. When I suggested that we do a cupcake tower topped with a cake Kim immediately requested a Weighted Companion Cube from the game Portal. Of course with her eye for detail Kim added the perfect touch that made the cake geek-tacular; she requested that Jerome's age be written in binary! The flavours included vanilla cupcakes with mexican hot chocolate buttercream, lemon cupcakes with vanilla buttercream, chocolate ginger cupcakes with green tea buttercream, and finally a chocolate chili cake topped with vanilla buttercream.
Clever Wedding Cupcakes
In late September I received an interesting request from a bride to be. She wanted to have cupcakes shaped like apples at her wedding. Though the thought of making 7 dozen apple shaped cupcakes on short notice seemed daunting at the time, I am not one to turn down a challenge. The cupcakes were red and white velvet with vanilla buttercream covered in red fondant each with a little fondant stem and leaf.

White Wedding Cupcakes
Last Sunday was too beautiful a day for just one wedding, the masochist that I am we actually did cupcakes for two weddings. The second wedding was held at Le Saint Gabriel in Montreal's Old Port. Our custom white cupcake tower was adorned with chocolate, espresso, red velvet, lemon, and vanilla cupcakes all topped with like flavoured buttercream and handmade fondant white bows. The tower was topped with a 6" fondant covered cake with a handmade fondant wedding dress and tuxedo as a topper. Also provided for this wedding were 5 dozen individually packaged mini cupcakes with silver dragees for each of the guests to take home.

Fall Cupcake Wedding
Last Sunday was a beautiful day for a wedding. There was not a cloud in the sky and the leaves were at the peak of their fall colours. This cupcake tower was provided for a wedding an hour west of Montreal being held at a sugar shack. To go along with the sugar shack theme the 15 dozen vanilla and vietnamese cinnamon cupcakes were frosted with maple buttercream and topped with fondant orange leaves and brown and yellow flower blossoms. The custom cupcake tower was topped with a matching 6" fondant covered cutting cake.
60th Birthday Cupcake Tower
All dressed up in elegant brown baking cups these 4 dozen chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream and 3 dozen espresso cupcakes with blue vanilla buttercream were topped with flower blossoms for a special woman's 60th birthday party at the W Hotel in Montreal. The cupcake at the top of the tower is decorated with a fondant Hershey's Kiss to match the event's invitations.
Retirement Tea Cupcakes
These cupcakes were ordered to be served at a retirement tea at a local university. The tea was in honour of a woman who loves cupcakes and lists angels and lilies as her favourite things. Since I did not have the proper cutters to make lilies we agreed on 2D lilies. I just love how the angels turned out.
Comic Book Cupcakes
Some people go to great lengths for the people they are close to. This order took over a month of planning to get just right. These red velvet cupcakes were filled with chocolate cream cheese, frosted with cream cheese frosting, and topped with hand drawn edible comic book characters including Iron Man, Batman, Daredevil, Captain America, and Thor. Also included are two handmade fondant birthday cakes.
I wanted to congratulate you on the amazing job that you did with the classic comic book characters-Daredevil, Captain America, Batman, Thor and Iron Man! My boyfriend, a nostalgic comic book reader since a young boy, absolutely loved his cupcakes, not just for the amazing and detailed design, but for their great taste too! His father used to do something similar for his early birthdays, so this surprise brought back plenty of good old' memories. Thank you once again! You will sure be hearing back from me in the near future:)

Sydney's 1st Birthday Cupcakes
For her 1st birthday Sydney's mom planned a candy themed party and to go with the theme ordered cupcakes topped with fondant candies and flower blossoms. A few weeks later I received the nicest e-mail from Sydney's mom complete with photos of her precious daughter.I wanted to take a minute to thank you for the most gorgeous cupcakes I've ever seen! They were a hit amongst the kids and the adults too!

Personalized 20th Birthday Cupcakes
These vanilla cupcakes with green tea buttercream were ordered for the 20th birthday of a guy who is into bodybuilding and music, is studying business, wants to become a police officer, and is in touch with his Japanese roots.
