Clever Wedding Cupcakes

In late September I received an interesting request from a bride to be. She wanted to have cupcakes shaped like apples at her wedding. Though the thought of making 7 dozen apple shaped cupcakes on short notice seemed daunting at the time, I am not one to turn down a challenge. The cupcakes were red and white velvet with vanilla buttercream covered in red fondant each with a little fondant stem and leaf.
